The hardest part is establishing your mission.

It’s hard because once you talk about your mission, once it is down on paper, you now have nowhere to run and hide. You are exposed to the possibility of failure.

The ego doesn’t like it one bit. Why would it? Its job is to protect you.

Not setting a mission for yourself is a good way to hide from the work that we are actually meant to do. It always feels safe to not have a mission.

Scary as it is, one should take a piece of paper and write down the change that they want to make in this world. The good news is that as you evolve, you can change this mission. It’s not permanent. However, if you don’t talk about the change that you want to make, you will always keep on wandering, without getting anywhere… because you don’t even know where to go.
