Your writing needs to be too ‘something’.

Too nice.

Too rude.

Too funny.

Too dark.

Too optimistic.

Too pessimistic.

Too sarcastic.

Too scientific.

Too spiritual.

Too detailed.

Too concise.

Too conversational.

Too matter-of-fact.

Dave Harland is too funny.

Louis Grenier 🤘 is too sarcastic.

Dan Koe is too philosophical.

Will it resonate with everyone? Not really.

Will it resonate with someone? Probably.

The challenge then becomes finding what your ‘too’ is. And that comes with time, patience, and practice.
