The problem with most ‘funnels’ is that they are way too transactional.
Think of a lead magnet where you are offering an e-book to anyone who gives you their email id. You are essentially saying “Hey, you will get this valuable e-book only if you give me something first”.
Great marketers flip this.
Whether it’s through a blog, youtube, or a podcast, they give selflessly. And they build trust. And then, the person himself can’t resist joining their email list.
