Some people outline before they write. Others don’t.

Some have clarity before writing. Others get clarity as they start writing.

Some want to write for 30 minutes, others for 40 minutes.

Some want to write the headline first, while others want to write the headline at the end.

Ignore the best practices.

Writing is personal.

Do what works for you.

(And if this best practice is unhelpful, ignore this one, too.)

P.S. – Thanks to my friend Ebony Huebner for the reminder.
